Terms of Service

1. Who We Are

Title Quest Promotions LLC ("Title Quest," "we," "us") is a North Carolina limited liability company that organizes Muay Thai events in Western North Carolina, including events hosted at Legacy Striking Academy, 701 Robinson Terrace, Hendersonville, NC 28792. 2. Eligibility and Age Requirement

• You must be 18 or older to join the fighter database, upload a photo, or register to compete. Signups with a date of birth under 18 are rejected automatically, and no photo or profile is saved.
• You must also be 18 or older on the date of any event you enter.
• This site is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 may not submit any information to us.
• If you use the site for a gym or team, you confirm you are authorized to act for it.

3. The Fighter Database

• Free to join. Joining the database costs nothing and does not enter you in an event or guarantee you a bout.
• Accurate information. You agree to give accurate, current and complete information, to keep it up to date, and to create only one profile, for yourself. Weight, experience, record and medical information must be truthful, because we rely on it to keep matchups fair and safe.
• Review and approval. We review every photo and profile before anything appears publicly. We may decline, crop, resize, edit or remove any profile or photo at our discretion.
• Your public card. Once approved, your fighter card may show your photo, name, age (never your date of birth), weight, weight class, division, training experience, record, gym and city. Your contact details, date of birth, medical information and notes are never shown publicly. See our Privacy Policy.
• Matchmaking ratings. Our staff may assign internal ratings, such as experience and aggression level, used only for matchmaking. These ratings are private and at our sole discretion.
• Changes and removal. To update or delete your profile, email fighters@titlequestmuaythai.com.

4. Event Registration and Payment

• Entering an event. You enter each event separately on its event page. The competitor entry fee is shown there (currently $30 USD for InterClub) and is paid by card through Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number.
• No guaranteed bout. Fight cards are limited. We match fighters by weight, experience and skill or aggression level at our sole discretion, and we may decline any entry or matchup.
• Requirements to compete. To compete you must make weight as entered, pass the pre-fight medical check, sign our full liability waiver and release on event day, wear all required safety gear, be cornered by your coach, and follow the event rules and the instructions of the referee, officials and medical staff.
• Removal. We may remove any fighter from a card for safety, failure to meet these requirements, false information, or misconduct.
• Spectators. Spectator admission is $30 per person unless the event page says otherwise and is paid at the door. Venue rules apply.

5. Refund and Cancellation Policy

All competitor entry fees and spectator admission are final and non-refundable. This includes if you withdraw, miss weight, do not pass the medical check, are not matched, do not show up, or are removed for a rules or conduct violation.

• If we cancel an event, we refund entry fees paid for that event to the original payment method.
• If we reschedule an event, your entry carries over to the new date.
• All fees are in U.S. dollars. If you have a question about a charge, please email fighters@titlequestmuaythai.com before contacting your bank.

6. Assumption of Risk

Muay Thai and other combat sports carry serious risks, including concussion, broken bones, other injuries, permanent disability and death. Our safety rules, gear requirements and medical checks reduce these risks but cannot eliminate them. Taking part is voluntary, and you should get medical clearance from a physician before competing.

Competitors must sign a separate written waiver and release before competing. These Terms do not replace that waiver, and if the two conflict on matters of event participation, the signed waiver controls. Spectators also accept the risks that come with attending a live combat sports event.

7. Event Rules and Conduct

• Each event follows its posted rules (see our Rules page and the event page). Decisions of the referee, officials and medical staff are final.
• Smoker bouts are exhibitions with no official decision. Any judges' feedback is informal and is not an official record.
• We may change the fight card, rules, schedule or venue when needed.
• Weapons, illegal drugs, fighting outside the ring, harassment and disorderly conduct are not allowed at our events. We may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who breaks these rules, without a refund.

8. Photos, Video and Publicity

Our events are photographed and filmed and may be livestreamed. By competing in or attending an event, you consent to being recorded. You give Title Quest, and the sponsors and partners promoting our events, permission to use your name, nickname, likeness, voice, photo, public profile details and event footage in any media, worldwide, without payment and without time limit, to promote Title Quest and its events. Fighters also give this permission when they check the photo permission box on the signup form.

You may ask us to stop using your profile photo going forward. We cannot recall materials that have already been published, printed or shared. You may take photos and video for your own personal use, but you may not livestream or commercially use footage of our events without our written permission.

9. Content You Submit

You keep ownership of the photos and other content you submit. You grant Title Quest a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, which we may pass on to our service providers, to store, crop, resize, display, reproduce and share that content to run the site and promote our events. You confirm that the photo shows you, that you have the right to share it (you took it, or the photographer has given permission), and that it contains no nudity, hateful or offensive material, or images of anyone else without their permission.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• give false information or pretend to be someone else;
• scrape, copy or collect information from the site by automated means;
• try to access staff-only areas, test for vulnerabilities, or interfere with the site's security or operation;
• use the contact or signup forms to send spam, harassment or unlawful content; or
• use the site for any unlawful purpose.

11. Intellectual Property

The site's content and design, and the Title Quest name, logo, crown mark and graphics, belong to Title Quest Promotions LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. You may not use them without our written permission. Sponsor and partner names and logos belong to their owners.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

The site uses or links to services run by others, including Stripe for payments, Google Maps for directions, and partner sites such as Legacy Striking Academy. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

13. Emails and Electronic Communications

By joining the fighter database, you agree to receive Title Quest event updates by email. Every promotional email includes a way to unsubscribe. Even if you unsubscribe, we will still send messages about any event you have entered or any bout you are matched in. You agree that notices, agreements and other communications we send electronically satisfy any legal requirement that they be in writing.

14. Disclaimers

The site and our events are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Title Quest disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that event information (dates, fight cards, rules or prices) is always current. Event details may change.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Title Quest Promotions LLC and its members, managers, staff, officials, volunteers, sponsors and host venues will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising out of or related to the site or these Terms. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the site or these Terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Some places do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Title Quest Promotions LLC and its members, managers, staff and host venues from any claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the site, the content you submit, your conduct at our events, or your violation of these Terms or the law.

17. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or remove your profile, or refuse your registration, if you break these Terms or if we believe it is needed for safety. You may ask us to delete your profile at any time. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination, including those on refunds, media, licenses, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification and disputes, will continue.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to email us at info@titlequestmuaythai.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally. Any dispute that is not resolved will be heard only in the state courts located in Henderson County, North Carolina, or the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina, and you consent to those courts' jurisdiction. Either side may bring an eligible claim in small claims court.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date, and for material changes we will give notice by email or on the site. Continuing to use the site or enter events after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

20. General

• These Terms, our Privacy Policy, any event waiver you sign, and the posted event rules are the entire agreement between you and Title Quest about the site and our events.
• If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
• Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
• You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours, for example to a successor business.
• We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, venue problems, illness or government orders.
